We got tired of hunting for sockets
CharZy started in Amman with a simple frustration: the moment your phone dies, your day shrinks. Maps, payments, tickets, your ride home — all gone. So we built the network that fixes it.

From one bad night to a national network
The idea arrived somewhere around 2% battery, in a café in Amman, with a taxi to book and no way to book it. Everyone at the table had the same problem and nobody had the right cable.
Power bank sharing was already working elsewhere — Turkey, the Gulf, across East Asia. What was missing here was a network dense enough that returning a bank was never a detour, and hardware good enough that you would actually want to use it.
So we designed a bank with every cable already attached, put 20,000 mAh inside it, and started putting stations where people actually run out of battery: campuses, malls, hospitals, airports and the cafés people work from all afternoon.

Same bank, same app, more borders. The region is next.
What we care about
Useful beats clever
Nobody wants to learn a product to charge a phone. If a feature needs explaining, it needs redesigning.
Safety is not a feature
Every cell is tested, every bank is protected, and any unit that drifts out of spec is pulled from the network.
A network, not a box
One station is a gadget. Hundreds that all accept each other's banks is infrastructure. We are building the second thing.
Partners come first
Our stations live in other people's businesses. If hosting one is ever a hassle, we have got it wrong.
